about
RAYSHAUN JOHNSON LPC, NCC
My professional journey has included service in various community and social service agencies throughout DC, where I supported individuals struggling with substance use, depression, anxiety, and life transitions. I’ve worked extensively with Black male populations and diverse groups across age and identity—including queer men, firefighters, police officers, and other first responders—deepening my understanding of the unique challenges different communities face.
In 2019, I founded NuVision Therapy LLC, a private practice grounded in the belief that healing begins with understanding and self-compassion. At NuVision, I specialize in supporting adults—particularly men, Black men, queer men, and first responders—who are navigating depression, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm. My mission is to create a safe, culturally responsive space where clients can explore their emotions, heal from within, and move toward greater emotional wellness.
Through NuVision Therapy, I remain committed to providing thoughtful, client-centered care that honors the stories and strengths each person brings into the room.
